NYSP: Man Threatens Two People With Hammer

AUSABLE FORKS, N.Y. - New York State Police say a man threatened two people with a hammer on Monday.

Police arrested and charged Richard Ecker, 32, of Ausable Forks, N.Y., with two counts of second degree menacing and one count of fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Ecker was arraigned and remanded to the Essex County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 secure bond.
