CHAZY, N.Y.  - New York State Police arrested a Quebec woman for DWI after they say she caused two accidents on Saturday.

Police say Nicole St. Louis, 58, damaged a vehicle at the intersection of Miner Farm Road and Lake Shore Road before getting her 2010 Volkswagen stuck in a ditch on Lake Shore Road.

St. Louis is also accused of being involved in a hit-and-run accident on Plaza Boulevard in the Town of Plattsburgh before crashing on Lake Shore Road. Police say St. Louis drove onto the curb and struck a light pole on Plaza Boulevard then left the scene.

St. Louis is charged with DWI, leaving the scene of a property damage motor vehicle accident, moving from lane unsafely, failure to stop at a stop sign, improper left turn, and failure to keep right. Police say her blood alcohol content was 0.10%.

St. Louis was arraigned in the Town of Chazy Court and was released after posting $2,000 cash bail.
