MASSENA, N.Y. - U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers found drugs in a woman's vehicle at the Massena Port of Entry.

New York State Police say they found 25 Percocet pills in a clear plastic bag underneath 24-year-old Elisha Thompson's clothes. Thompson was training to enter the United States from Canada.

Police say Thompson did not have a legal prescription for the pills.

Thompson is charged with 3rd degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was arraigned in the Town of Massena Court and was remanded to the St. Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. She is due back in court on April 8.

Thompson is a U.S. citizen and is from Hogansburg, N.Y.
