Six Soldiers Struck by Lightning at Fort Drum

FORT DRUM, N.Y. - Six soldiers were struck by lightning Thursday night. The strike happened around 9 p.m.

According to Fort Drum, all six of the soldiers received non-life threatening injuries. Four of the soldiers have returned to duty, while two others remain in the hospital.

The soldiers were doing a normal training routine in the field at the time of the lightning strike.
