PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - A vigil is planned Tuesday night to honor 20-year-old SUNY Plattsburgh student Kodi Kadeem Beckles.

SUNY Plattsburgh says the vigil will be held at 6 p.m. in the Memorial Gym.

SUNY Plattsburgh President John Ettling said that it was a “sad day on campus and no family should ever have to face the death of one so young."

A body was found behind Knight's Automotive on Route 3 Monday morning and police tentatively identified the body as Beckles. Police are continuing to investigate and an autopsy has been scheduled in Albany on Tuesday. They don't suspect foul play at this time.

Beckles was last seen between late Friday and early Saturday morning at an off-campus party in the area of Cornelia and Wells Streets. Police say he was last seen leaving the party on foot between 12:30 and 1:00 a.m. on April 5. Friends reported Beckles missing to SUNY Plattsburgh Police on April 5 when he didn't attend a meeting on campus earlier in the day.

If anyone has any information regarding the investigation they are asked to call:

State Police in Plattsburgh (518) 563-3761
Plattsburgh City Police Department (518) 563-3411
SUNY Plattsburgh Police Department (518) 564-202
