Here are some winter parking bans across the area.

Plattsburgh, N.Y.
A snow emergency parking ban has been declared for all city wide streets, including city owned parking lots. Effective from midnight until 6 a.m. Thursday.

Police say vehicles that are not removed may be ticketed or towed.

Anyone with questions or if your vehicle is towed should contact the Plattsburgh Police Department at (518)-563-3411.

Burlington, Vt.

A winter parking ban is in effect for entire city of Burlington from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Thursday. One exception is the downtown area where parking is banned from midnight to 7 a.m.

A press release says any vehicles left on the street during the ban may be ticketed or towed.

Parking is available in the Marketplace Parking Garage and the Macy's Parking Garage only on the lower decks. Motorists are instructed not to park in city-owned garages. Vehicles must be removed by 7:30 a.m. or they will be charged a full days rate.

Call (802)-658-SNOW (7669) after 3 p.m. for updated parking information.
