Woman Accused of Bringing Drugs to Malone Prison

MALONE, N.Y. - A woman is accused of bringing in drugs to the Bare Hill Correctional Facility in Malone on Saturday.

Police say Amanda Deluke, 24, of Albany, N.Y., was found to be in possession of marihuana and synthetic marihauna while visiting an inmate at the prison. Deluke had the drugs in her person and on her person. 

Deluke is charged with 2nd degree promoting prison contraband, unlawful possession of marijuana, and possession of synthetic cannabinoids. 

Deluke was arraigned in the Town of Bangor Court and was remanded to the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond. She is due back in court on Tuesday.
