Woman Accused of Setting Fire While Family Was Home Sleeping

NORTH ELBA, N.Y. - New York State Police are looking for a woman they say is accused of setting a home on fire while the family was sleeping in North Elba. The fire happened on May 26, 2012.

Police say Stephanie Brier is likely with her father Trever Brier, who is wanted for a felony DWI charge. The Briers left town shortly after the fire and may be in Kentucky.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the New York State Police at (518)-897-2000. If spotted, police say you should not take any action except contacting the police.
