Woman Arrested For Giving False Information During Traffic Stop

ROSSIE, N.Y. - New York State Police say they arrested 22-year-old Amanda Haggerty, of Plattsburgh, N.Y., for providing false information during a traffic stop on Route 11 Friday night. 

Haggerty is charged with false personation, aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation, and inadequate license plate lamps. 

Police say she provided the false information because her license was suspended. 

Haggerty was arraigned in the Town of Rossie Court and was remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 bond. 

She is due back in court in the beginning of March.
