NH Bill Would Prevent Businesses From Retaliating Against Employees Needing Flexible Schedules

CONCORD, N.H. - The New Hampshire Senate passed legislation that prohibits employers from retaliating against employees who request flexible work arrangements.

According to the bill, flexible working arrangement does not include vacation, routine scheduling of shifts, or another form of employee leave.

Bill Sponsor Dan Feltes (D-Concord) says the legislation is an important step in protecting workers who need to request a flexible work schedule due to family obligations.
