The City of Plattsburgh is suspending its snow removal ordinance this weekend.

Normally, residents must clear their sidewalks within 24 hours after a snowstorm, or get a ticket.

This will not be enforced this weekend due to the frigid temperatures.

The mayor is encouraging residents to stay inside and avoid possible frostbite.
