Police arrest St. Albans man for heroin, cocaine; Search underway for second suspect

St. Albans, Vt. - A St. Albans man will face drug charges after a search of his home turned up heroin, crack cocaine and prescription drugs, according to police.

Officials say St. Albans police assisted the Franklin County Sheriff's Department in arresting Jeffry Robtoy, 47, on Thursday.

Authorities say while on scene, they came into contact with a second man, Andre Hudson, 38, of Hartford, Conn.

Police say they executed a search warrant at 45 North Elm St. and found approximately 10 grams of heroin, 17 grams of crack cocaine, 30 non-prescribed Suboxone strips, a large variety of prescription drugs, and $7,000.  The street value of the drugs is around $8,200, according to St. Albans police.

Officials say Robtoy was released.  Authorities say Hudson is on probation for drug charges in Connecticut.  Police say they're looking to arrest Hudson for his involvement in the drugs found at the home.

Anyone with information is asked to call St. Albans police at 802-524-2166.
