St. Albans, Vt. - St. Albans Police have identified the two people that were found dead on Sunday night.
Police say, Leaf Blouin, 51 and Steven Puro, 37 both of St. Albans both died several days before their bodies were discovered.
According to police, Blouin died from multiple stab wounds to the neck and upper torso. Puro’s cause of death is currently unclear.
Officials say a toxicology report could provide answers to his death. The report could take up to six weeks to process.
Police say Puro did die sometime after Blouin.
According to police, the apartment was locked from the inside and there was no evidence of forced entry.
Investigators say Puro has a history with police that includes domestic and an aggravated domestic assault with different victims.
