Police: Man Accused of Causing a Fatal Crash in Barre is Facing new Charges

Barre, Vt. - A Barre man accused of causing a crash that killed two sisters is facing new charges.

According to police, Shaun Duprey, 32, violated conditions of release on Saturday when he was pulled over by police for operating a motorcycle.

Police say Duprey was found with heroin, crack cocaine, and other drug paraphernalia in his backpack.

According to a media release, Duprey was cited on Tuesday for selling drugs. The Vermont Drug Task Force says this was tied to a two-week long investigation.

Duprey is currently being held at St. Johnsbury Correctional for lack of bail. He is scheduled to appear at Vermont Superior Court in Washington County on May 4.
