Police: Man's Body Found, Will be Recovered Tuesday

Westmore, Vt. - Vermont State Police say a man was found dead in a wooded area in the southern area of Lake Willoughby in Westmore at the bottom of a steep drop-off on Monday.

Authorities say the searchers have been unable to reach him to confirm his identity because of the difficult nature of the area.

The scene is secure, and VSP says technical rescue equipment is being brought in to recover the body.  Police say the recovery won't happen until Tuesday because of the few hours of daylight left.  Police say a time has not yet been set.

Officials say the family of Tyler Robinson has been notified, even though no positive ID has been made.

Investigators say there is not evidence or information to suspect foul play.
