Police: Plattsburgh man Arrested for Setting Fire to Eight Vehicles

Plattsburgh, N.Y. - Plattsburgh Police say the suspect responsible for setting fire to eight vehicles earlier this month has been arrested.   

Police say Jimmy Williams, 35, of Plattsburgh was arrested in Texas, where Williams is originally from.

Authorities say Williams is accused of the arson of eight vehicles that happened on July 9 in Plattsburgh’s North End

According to police, Williams was extradited from Texas and was arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court on Wednesday.   

Police say Williams was charged with eight counts of arson and his being held at Clinton County Jail on $50,000 cash bail.
