Marshfield: Police Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect

MARSHFIELD, Vt - Vermont State Police is searching for a man who allegedly robbed a Marshfield gas station at gunpoint. 

 

Police say they responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Maplefields Store on US Route 2 late Thursday night.

 

According to police, a masked man entered the store pointing a handgun at the clerk and demanding money. The man then stole cash from the register and fled on foot. 

 

Police say no one was injured. 


According to authorities, the suspect is described as a white man with an average build, wearing a dark-colored shirt, gray pants, black shoes and a black ski mask carrying a black backpack.
