St. Johnsbury, Vt. - Police in St. Johnsbury say a man is facing charges after firing a gun in his own home.
Police say a report came in that a man was firing a handgun inside of his home on Thursday night at home on Portland Street.
According to a media release, Ralph Carney, 60, was taken to the hospital and then held in jail at Northeast Regional Correctional Facility.
Police say Carney is being held on $500 bail and was scheduled to appear in court to answer to the charges of reckless endangerment and resisting arrest.
