Police: Vt. Man Arrested for Human Trafficking

Burlington Police have arrested a man who is accused of human trafficking. 

Police say after months of investigation Timothy Galloway, 46, of Burlington was charged on 4 counts of the human trafficking of drug independent woman. 

Investigators say Galloway was arrested in Massachusetts and extradited to Vermont.   

Officials say human trafficking is a felony in Vermont and he could face life in prison and be fined up to $500,000. 

According to police Galloway was arraigned at Chittenden Superior Court on Tuesday, and was held for the lack of $75,000 bail.
