Vt. Gov. to Meet With White House Drug Policy Official

Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin will be meeting with a top White House drug policy official.

Shumlin is scheduled to meet Monday morning with Gil Kerlikowske, director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy for the White House.

Following a press conference in Waterbury—Shumlin and Kerlikowske will head to South Burlington where they will tour the methadone clinic.

Last week Shumlin was tapped to co-lead a session by national governors to reduce prescription drug abuse.
