Rep. Stefanik Touts Manufacturing in Plattsburgh

Plattsburgh, New York - New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik was in Plattsburgh Wednesday, checking out progress on the expansion of a manufacturing plant. 
Stefanik toured Norsk Titanium, a Norwegian aerospace company that makes airplane parts using high-tech, industrial, 3-d printing machines.
Norsk expects to become a major economic player in the North Country.

It employs about 30 people now but they expect to hire an additional 400 people as the company expands.
"This is one step in a multi-year process for the Department of Defense to recognize the importance of companies like Norsk, of the unique technology
capabilities that Norsk brings which will improve our military readiness and it will improve our war fighters capabilities in meeting the 21st
century national security challenges around the globe." Said Stefanik
The Congresswoman also spoke to staff about increasing opportunities for manufacturing businesses and 3-d printing in her district.
