Report Says Carman Witholding Information

A Vermont man at the center of separate probes into two deaths in his family is withholding information.

According to the Boston Globe Nathan Carman is withholding information to an insurance company about the boat he was rescued from at sea.

Carman's mother was presumed dead after the boat sank.

The company made the allegations in court filings earlier this week.

The Boston Globe says Carman's lawyers did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Carman was the prime suspect in the 2013 murder of his grandfather.

He has not been charged in that case.

Carman is also not facing any charges for the death of his mother.
