Rescue Crews Search for 11-Year-Old Boy in Winooski River

Winooski, Vermont - Rescue crews spent several hours Tuesday night searching the Winooski River by Winooski Falls for a person who fell in the river.
 
First responders searched the waters for 3 hours and were not able to find anyone.
 
According to the Winooski Police, 4 kids about 10 to 13 years old were playing around Winooski Falls.

Witnesses say they saw one of them fall in.

Police believe an 11 year old boy, who is an immigrant from Kenya, went missing in the river.
 
So far the boys name has not released.

Crews are limiting the search to the water and do not believe he is on land.

The search will resume Wednesday at 8 in the morning.
