Rutland Man Facing Drug Charges After Selling Heroin to Police

Rutland, Vt - Vermont State Police along with the FBI and the Rutland City Police Department announced Friday that Shawn Cormia, 41, of Rutland, was arrested on Wednesday for selling heroin.

Authorities say Comia is part of an on-going investigation into drug sales in Rutland County.

VSP says members of the Vermont Drug Task Force held controlled drug purchases from Cormia on several occasions.

Cormia's initial court appearance was scheduled for Friday, police say he was held and placed in custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
