Have you noticed some of your go-to Cabot products have a new look?
Cabot Creamery has confirmed with Local 22 and Local 44 that its ‘cultured’ products, including sour cream, cottage cheese, and dips, along with the legacy line of Cabot cheddars, and the Cabot Whey Protein powder, have a new look.
“I think the first thing to say is that no recipes have changed! It is the same product inside, but we decided to unify the look and feel of the products so they stood out on the shelf,” Cabot Brand Communications Manager Nate Formalarie said in an email Friday.
The new look began to hit store shelves in mid-October, and Formalarie said the company is slowly making the transition—so you might see both for a bit.
Beginning in 2017, all the cheddar cheese bars will get an updated look. Formalarie said the goal is to unify Cabot products to enhance sales, and return more profits back to family farms.
Cabot is owned by 1,100 farm families throughout New York and New England, and Agri-Mark.
