Sen. Sanders Holds Labor Day Rallies in New Hampshire, Vermont

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders will hold four Labor Day events in New Hampshire and Vermont.

The Senator began Monday in Manchester, NH at the New Hampshire AFL-CIO breakfast in Manchester.

There, he focused on challenges facing working families, including improving the Affordable Care Act and raising the minimum wage.

The independent said, "health care is a right whether you're rich or poor," and that the American people should stand up to insurance companies, drug companies and Wall Street.

"And say that we want a health care system designed to provide quality care to all in a cost effective way, not a system designed to make tens of billions of dollars for insurance companies and drug companies. That's the struggle we're in," said Sanders.

Sanders is also attending a rally hosted by Rights & Democracy New Hampshire in Concord.

In Vermont, Sanders will hold rallies in White River Junction and Middlebury, also hosted by Rights & Democracy.
