St. Albans police seize 1.25 pounds of crack cocaine, $6,000 cash

ST. ALBANS, Vt. - More than one pound of crack cocaine was found in a St. Albans apartment Saturday morning, according to police.

Police say the 1.25 pounds of crack cocaine and $6,000 cash was found after executing a search warrant at the Kingman Street apartment.

It was the first operation spearheaded by the newly formed St. Albans Police Street Crimes Unit, police say.

Police arrested Lionel Edward, 35, of Bronx, New York.

He is facing a felony possession of crack cocaine charge.

His bail is set at $100,000. Katelyn Bushey, 26, of St. Albans, and Travis Bedard, 34, of Highgate, were arrested for outstanding arrest warrants.
