Thetford, Vt. - The town of Thetford has a long road ahead cleaning up after the weekend storms.
Town officials say some residents are still without power, phone and water. About 50 residents are even stuck in their home due to impassable roads.
The American Red Cross is assisting alongside Thetford Police Department, Fire Department, Emergency Management Services and town road crews. Red Cross urged residents to reach out.
"If you can't get out it's important that you coordinate with the local emergency management officials because conversely they probably can't get in," David Muse from American Red Cross said.
Muse also said to get in contact with Thetford Emergency Management Services if you need food or water.
Officials say 75 percent of town roads were affected and estimate it will take three to four months to recover from the storm.
