The Great Vermont Corn Maze in Danville opens Sunday, dubbed the largest corn maze in New England.

This maze has been bringing people smiles for 17 years.  Mike and Dana Boudreau have made it more than twice as long this year.

They say the maze is typically 20 acres.  This year, it is 24 acres.  It takes several weeks to build, while prep and design takes 11 months.

"You can come with maybe a friend, two friends, make a team of it, work your way through, work together," says Mike Boudreau.  "It's good for maybe a third date, but not a first date, way to much pressure for a first date."

The maze continues into mid October.  The Boudreaus suggest bringing snacks and plenty of water, as the maze can take several hours to complete.  They also suggest coming early.
