UVM Study Blames Bullying For Uneasiness In Schools

BURLINGTON, Vt - A new study published by UVM professors shows bullying, cyber bullying and harassment are some of the main reasons students don't feel safe and connected at school.

The study focused on middle and high school students.

It also reveals students who identify as female or transgender are the targets of multiple forms of victimization at school.

The study recommends school officials focus on bullying prevention efforts to build a stronger and safer school climate.
