Vermont DOC: Vermont Inmates Moved to Pennsylvania

Vermont -

The Vermont Department of Corrections says all 269 Vermont inmates that were previously housed in Michigan have made the move to Pennsylvania.

Officials say the inmates were transported by air and ground to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections’ State Correctional institution Camp Hill. 

The inmates were moved because the contract in Michigan ended and a new one was signed with the State of Pennsylvania under the Interstate Corrections Compact.
