Middlesex, Vt. - Vermont State Police say the person of interest in the homicide of Cindy Cook, Randal Gebo, 61, of Barre City has been seen in other states.
Investigators say Gebo was in Perry, Oklahoma on Saturday and Buffalo, Wyoming on Sunday.
Police believe Gebo, is in possession of and operating Cook’s 2009 Mini Cooper Clubman.
Gebo has left Vermont with the vehicle he was tracked in West Prescott, Arkansas Friday afternoon, police say, where he used Cook’s debit card to withdraw cash from a bank.
A warrant has been issued for Gebo’s arrest for aggravated vehicle operation without owner consent and fraudulent use of a credit card and possession of a credit card issued to another.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Randal Gebo or the 2009 Mini Cooper is asked to contact the Vermont State Police Middlesex barracks at 802-229-9191.
Cook, 59, of Barre City, was found in a wooded area down an embankment off Brook Road in Middlesex July 12th.
She was last in contact with her family on July 3.
Her cause of death is still pending.
