BURLINGTON, VT- Firefighters from 6 area states gathered in Burlington Saturday for a lesson in fire safety and working together.

The training seminar was held at Burlington High School and focused on how all parts of the fire team must work together.

Groups included, the drivers and water spraying teams, to the ventilation and search teams.

They were also mindful of safety, especially this weekend after the tragic fire in Boston that took the lives of two firefighters.

"Most of the people I know, we're going to be in boston next week to support the boston firefighters and support the families of our fallen brothers," said Captain Michael Dugan who was Saturday's speaker.

He's a 27-year retired Captain with the New York City Fire Department.
