HARDWICK, Vt. - Federal authorities arrested Larry Garrow, 26, in connection to a burglary at Rite Way Sports in Hardwick.

U.S. Attorney Paul Van de Graaf says they have not recovered all the guns and are looking for the public’s help in locating them.

Police say a 32 guns were stolen from the store last weekend.  During the break-in, the electricity was cut from behind the store before the individual forced their way inside.  The guns are of various manufacturers and consist of 38 calibers and 9 millimeters.

Police say some of the guns were sold to Albert Torres-Morales, 29, in exchange for drugs and money. Morales is now facing drug charges.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives told FOX 44 and ABC 22 that gun shop thefts are on the rise in Vermont and connects it to the opioid epidemic across the state.

Court documents say federal authorities found a bag of guns in Garrow's bedroom at his parents house. The serial numbers on the guns found inside the bag matched the serial numbers for the guns stolen from the store.
