ST. ALBANS, Vt. - St. Albans Police arrested the director of the adult education program at the Northwest Technical Center at BFA last week for embezzlement.

According to police, Marilyn Savoy, 61, of St. Albans, Vt., is accused of stealing $1,900 in tuition money from students who paid their tuition in cash over a five month period. Savory is then accused of lying to a supervisor in an attempt to cover up the theft.

Savory resigned and has paid back all of the money. She is scheduled to appear in court in June.
