BURLINGTON, Vt. - CCTA bus drivers are still on strike Tuesday.

CCTA says they haven't received a formal proposal from the union and is asking for sufficient time to review the proposal once they receive it. The union has asked CCTA to meet on Wednesday, but says they were declined a meeting.

A press release says that CCTA will be happy to sit down with the union with the assistance of a neutral third party federal mediator.

Bus drivers have been on strike since Monday. The strike will continue into Wednesday.
