CDC Names Pediatrician as VT's 2014 Childhood Immunization Champion

BURLINGTON, Vt. - Vermont Pediatrician Joseph Hagan, MD is named Vermont's 2014 childhood immunization champion. 

The Vermont Health Department says each year, during National Infant Immunizaiton Week (April 28 -  May 4, 2014), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) honor health professionals around the country who promote child immunization in their communities. 

“Dr. Hagan is an inspiration to all who care about children’s health in Vermont,” Ann Giombetti, nurse who works with Dr. Hagan, said, “We are pleased and honored to congratulate him on this well-deserved award.”
