Change of Venue in Jenkins' Murder Trial

ST. JOHNSBURY, VT- New update regarding the Melissa Jenkins murder trial.

The Northeast Kingdom couple accused of murdering her won't be tried in Caledonia County.

Allen Prue and his wife Patricia Prue are accused of killing the then 33-year-old St. Johnsbury teacher and dumping her body in the Connecticut river March of 2012.

The judge ruled that trial venue will be changed, but he did not specify to which county, or when.

But the judge stated all pre-trial issues will be dealt with-in Caledonia county.

Both defendents have pleaded not guilty.
