That's what more than 1,000 people did on Sunday at the 25th Annual C.O.T.S. Walk.
The 3.5 mile trek started from Battery Park in Burlington, and followed the route a homeless person might take to find shelter and services.
This is the group's largest one-day fundraiser each year, with 50% of its budget coming from community donations.
"One of the statistics that really hit home for me was we fill three school buses with homeless children. So for me that visual three school buses of homeless children, thats why i'm here today," said Brigitte Ritchie, Chair of C.O.T.S.
This year's goal was to reach $175,000.
