Drug Raid Nets More Than 400 Packets of Heroin, Other Drugs in Hartford

HARTFORD, Vt. - Four individuals were arrested Thursday after a drug raid at a residence on Cascadnac Avenue in Hartford.

Police say Belinda Daniels, 50, of Hartford, Vt., David Reyes, 23, of Springfield, Mass., Jonathan Stack, 27, of Holyoke, Mass., and Louis Tibercio-Cordero, 26, of Chicopee, Mass., were arrested for trafficking in heroin, trafficking in cocaine, sale of marijuana, conspiracy to traffic cocaine, and conspiracy to traffic heroin.

Police seized 14.9 grams of crack cocaine wrapped for individual sale, 15.6 grams of marijuana wrapped for individual sale, 136 packets of heroin, and 13.6 grams of heroin.

Police say the powered heroin, when packaged, is equivalent to more than 400 packets. The packets would have a street value of about $12,000.

Hundreds of heroin packaging folds for the powdered heroin and a scale were also found at the residence.

The four individuals were lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility. Daniels was held on $1,000 bond. Stack, Reyes, and Tibercio-Cordero were held on individual $25,000 bonds.
