ESSEX JUNCTION, Vt. - Another article on the Essex ballot would raise property taxes.

The town wants $3.3 million approved to complete five major construction projects. Those include roads, replacing sidewalks, and improving drainage.

Eighty-six percent of the bond will come from the general fund, which will increase property taxes for two years, before dropping again over the next 18. The rest of the money would come through water fund user fees.
