Four Caught Red Handed in Burglary

RYEGATE, Vt. - Vermont State Police say four people from Barre were caught red handed in a burglary. It happened around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday 

A man arrived home to strangers. They ran, but police caught them nearby.

Crystal and Nelson Barney, Moriah Benway, and Daniel Wilder had nearly $4,000 in stolen goods on them and in their vehicle.

Police say the group also broke into another house in the area. Homes in these towns may have been hit, Barre, Orange, Groton, Ryegate, Wells River, and Newbury.
