A little bit of everything is gathering at the Expo now, ahead of the annual community yard sale held Saturday and Sunday. All of the proceeds benefit KidSafe Collaborative, a group that works to keep children safe from abuse and neglect.
"The event has really grown over the years. Every year we seem to get a better quality of stuff. I think the word is out that we're kind of a junk free event. We’re pretty discriminating, we don't take dirty stuff, broken stuff," Anne MacLeod said.
Donations will be accepted Friday as well, then the sale kicks off Saturday at 8 a.m. It lasts through 4. It will be open 10-noon Sunday.
