RUTLAND, Vt. - An inmate at the Marble Valley Correctional Center is accused of pouring hot coffee on another inmate.

Vermont State Police say Jolibin Massamba, 36, of Scranton, Penn., followed  Timothy Williams, 25, of New Haven, Vt.,  to his cell and poured coffee on him after he removed his coffee from the microwave to cook his own food.

Williams received minor injuries and was treated at the medical unit at the correctional facility.

Massamba is charged with simple assault. He is currently incarcerated on pending false pretense and false personation charges.
