The crew involves hundreds of volunteers. Lyric says it's been trying to put on "Les Mis" for years and is excited this is their 84th production.
"It's the gamut of emotions. You know, the wonderful thing about live theater is it hits all of the senses. So it's going to tug at your heart strings. The music is gorgeous. The sets, the costumes, the projections," says Stephen Kendall, production supervisor.
Lyric, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary, is also raising money for a big project. It needs about one-point-four million dollars to build a new production and rehearsal facility.
By the way, tickets are still available for "Les Mis."
