Man Arrested After Police Find Cocaine, Regulated Drugs During Traffic Stop

WATERBURY, Vt. - A man was arrested after police found cocaine and regulated drugs during a traffic stop on Vermont Route 100 Monday night. Police say they initially stopped the vehicle for a motor vehicle violation.

Police searched the vehicle and found less than 2.5 grams of cocaine and other regulated drugs. The driver, Shawn McAllister, 34, of North Hyde Park, Vt., is charged with possession of cocaine and regulated drug.

He is scheduled to be arraigned in October.
