BURLINGTON, Vt. - Want to watch live streaming concerts in Vermont? There's a new web space that is going to make that a possibility.

Wednesday CCTV announced a new collaborative project called the "Civic Cloud." Nonprofit and public web developers will be able to use the service to bring Vermonters access to all kinds of events and information in their communities.

Echo Lake Aquarium and Science Center already wants to use the space for educational games and others say the possibilities are unlimited.

We recognize that the cloud represents an opportunity for basically an infinite horizon of creativity and construction of applications that help us accomplish our mission and we're intensely grateful to be a part of it and to have any relation to the extremely talented people who are helping build it,” Big Heavy World’s Jim Lockridge said.
