WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. - Two people were arrested for having drugs and drug paraphernalia.

A press release says Angela Redmond, 41, and Breanna Prime, 19, both of Hartford, Vt., were arrested and charged with possession of heroin.

Police seized heroin, marijuana, drug related paraphernalia such as packaging consistent with the sale of various drugs, several needles, written correspondence suggesting drug sales from correctional facilities in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Connecticut.  Several imitation pistols as well as a clip loaded with live ammunition were also found.

Police say an infant child was in the residence and Vermont Department of Children and Families (DCF) are investigating.

Both Redmond and Prime are scheduled to appear in court at a later date. Police say further charges are pending.
