RUTLAND, Vt. - Vermont State Police say they arrested a man they say transported regulated drugs into the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Center.

Fred Lyons, 20, of New York, was arrested in February for conspiracy to sell drugs. He was then transported to Marble Valley Correctional Center in Rutland. During the entry process, police did a routine search and found a small plastic bag containing marijuana.

The weight of the marijuana was 0.6 grams.

Lyons is scheduled to appear in Rutland Superior Court at the end of April.
