Police: Man Tries to Rob Dot's Market in Burlington

BURLINGTON, Vt. - Burlington Police are looking for a man they say tried to rob Dot's Market in the Old North End on Tuesday. The attempted robbery happened at around 1:30 p.m. 

Police say a man came into the store and tried to take money from the cash drawer. The clerk closed the drawer as the man tried to take money from it. The man then left without taking nay money. 

Police say the man fled on Archibald Street toward Intervale Avenue. 

The clerk was not injured during the robbery.

The man is described as being white, approximately 6' tall, thin to medium build, and no facial hair. He was described as waring a red hooded sweatshirt under a green zip-up fleece, blue denim jeans, and black sandals.
